One week remaining to register for Spring enrichment classes
Ben Franklin PTA is sponsoring 10 afterschool enrichment classes for the Spring session (April 16-June 1) including Young Rembrandts drawing and cartooning (newly managed by a Franklin family), Ellipsis math adventure for 2-4th graders, two different levels of Coding for Kids, Jr. Outdoor Wilderness in the school forest, Sports (Game time for K-2 and a flag football & capture the flag combo for 2nd-5th graders), Karate for 1st-5th graders and Chess by Chess4Life. Detailed class descriptions, prices and times can be found on
Friday classes will be 1.5hr long sessions, while all other days are one-hour long classes. Your children will be escorted from the basketball blacktop area to the classroom by a PTA volunteer & chaperone. Each student in the class is expected to provide a chaperone for one day each session. Having great chaperones is the only way we can offer classes after school directly on premises - making it easy and safe for your kids to try new activities and supplement their current education.
Up-to-date information and a direct link to registration can be found on our Ben Franklin PTA website under the "Activities" tab on the left.

Would you like your child to attend an after-school class for FREE?
We are looking for a parent to organize chaperone signups for all Spring after-school classes in exchange for one free course of your choice for your child. This job includes building and managing the sign-ups for all classes, taking time to educate chaperones and overseeing the process for the duration of this session. Please contact Audria Stubna ( for more details and to register your interest. Funding is also available through the school counselor for need-based PTA scholarship.
