Marauder's Masque - Friday Feb 23, 6.30-8pm in the Commons
Pull out your dancing shoes because the school dance is right around the corner. Each year the PTA sponsors Dance Week, in which we bring in an outside dance instructor who teaches age appropriate dance skills during Music and PE. At the end of the week, we host our school dance for all of our Franklin Community and your kiddos can show off their new dance moves. So, wear your favorite Harry Potter robe, costume, or mask and join us for a magical time at our school dance - the Marauder's Masque. Tickets are sold at the door for $5 a person or $15 for three or more family members. Sweet treats, wands and glow sticks will also be available for purchase. This is a CASH only event. If you can help set-up, clean-up, or volunteer during the dance please sign-up here.

Science Fair is coming soon
The PTA Science Fair is on Thursday, March 22. The aim of the Science Fair is to have fun while exploring multiple aspects of science in a hands-on way. To help facilitate this, the PTA will provide tri-fold display boards to any Ben Franklin student who would like to participate. Students should see their teachers for display boards and general Science Fair Guidelines and Entry forms are posted on the Science Fair page of the PTA website. Students should also check with their teachers for more specific guidelines and timelines if their participation is required for class. We will need parent volunteers on the day of the event to help before, during and after the fair to help make it a success. If you'd like to help out with this year's event, please contact Prasidha Raja
