5th Grade Gardening Club looking for parent volunteers
Several 5th grade students have formed a gardening club and are looking for parent volunteers to work with them during their 2.20pm recess on Mondays and Fridays until the end of the school year. The goal is to improve the Franklin Garden area for fellow and future students to enjoy. You must be an approved volunteer to participate. To volunteer, please email

You can now order your School Supplies for the 2018-19 school year
Our PTA is offering the option to order next year's school supplies online through School Toolbox. They will be delivered to the school in time for Meet & Greet in August. All supplies are name brand and offered at a 10% discount with no cost for shipping. Supplies will come assembled in a kit with your child's name on it. All orders are due by Friday, June 22. This is an optional service; you may continue to purchase your supplies independently if you prefer.

13 Reasons Why...To Have a Conversation with Your Child June 4
Youth Eastside Services is holding an upcoming event "13 Reasons Why...To Have a Conversation with Your Child".
This is a free, educational event for parents that will facilitate a conversation around the second season of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why and offer parents resources to engage with their child on the topics of suicide, depression, and anxiety; and how our community and schools are responding to the increased risk. 
There will be four panelists: YES counselor Michelle Brode, Megan Kennedy from the University of Washington, who has been developing a comprehensive suicide prevention plan, Matt Gillingham, Director of Student Services at Lake Washington School District, and Renee Jones and Cailyn Griffith from the Crisis Clinic.
The event is on Monday, June 4, 6-7.30pm at the YES offices in Bellevue (right in Crossroads Park.) Please RSVP.
