Community News Calling all 5th grade parents & anyone who likes pizza and football! Casey and Dave Griner are hosting a 5th Grade Camp Fundraiser this Sunday, November 26 at 12.30pm at Pizza Coop in Woodinville. Mac & Jack Brewery has generously offered to donate proceeds from their sales to our 5th grade camp fund, along with donating t-shirts, glassware, hats, etc for a raffle. Science Fair is  tomorrow  -  Thursday March 22 The PTA Science Fair is on  tomorrow  -  Thursday, March 22 . Participants can bring their display boards  tomorrow  morning ( Thursday March 22 ) to take part in early setup beginning at  2:30pm.  Students can present their experiments to their class during  Thursday  morning if they have their display boards with them. Winter 2018 after-school enrichment programs A new eight-week after-school program will include  basketball, karate, drama, robotics, coding and Spanish. The eight-week session runs from January 29 (the week after conferences) to March 30 (right before Spring Break). New laptops for the library from the PTA Thank you to everyone who attended the General Membership meeting last week. We voted on how to spend our additional funds raised through the Warrior Run. The membership voted unanimously to purchase 10 new laptops for the school library, which benefits each and every student at Ben Franklin. We also voted to endorse and support the upcoming Bond and Levy Measures. This year we had 33 student art pieces entered into the National PTA Reflections Art competition. Eleven of the 33 are finalists and moving onto the council level of judging!
